Who we are and our role
FleetLite is provided by TechSlide IT Solutions Pvt Ltd, Tamil Nadu, India. For your account and billing details we decide how data is used. For the operational data a customer company records in FleetLite (vehicles, drivers, trips, customers, expenses), that company decides what is recorded and why, and we process it on its behalf.
Data we handle
- Account data: names, mobile numbers, email addresses, company details, GSTIN and billing records.
- Operational data entered by customers and their staff: vehicles, drivers (including licence details), trips, fuel, expenses, documents and photos, customers and invoices.
- Location data: from the driver app at trip start and end, and from GPS devices when the GPS add-on is used.
- Payment messages: bank, UPI, card and FASTag messages a customer chooses to forward or allows the driver app to read for Smart Capture, with consent recorded per source. OTPs and personal messages are filtered out on the device.
- This website does not use tracking cookies or analytics. A theme preference may be stored in your browser.
How we use it
- To provide the service: record and calculate trips, expenses, profit, alerts, invoices and reports; send OTPs, alerts and summaries the customer has turned on.
- To bill subscriptions, give support, keep the service secure and meet legal obligations.
- We do not sell personal data, and we do not use customer operational data for advertising.
Sharing with service providers
- We share data only as needed with providers that help run the service, for example payment processing, WhatsApp and SMS delivery, GST e-invoice and e-way bill (GSP), VAHAN and FASTag data providers, map tiles and, when a customer switches it on, an AI service for questions and bill reading.
- Integrations that need a customer’s own credentials or consent are used only after the customer sets them up.
Storage, security and retention
- Each customer company’s operational data is kept in its own separate database. Files are stored privately and accessed through short-lived links. Changes to financial records are audit-logged.
- Raw Smart Capture messages are deleted automatically after a retention period. GPS position history is kept for 90 days by default; AI questions and answers for 90 days. Encrypted backups are kept for a limited period.
- When an account is closed, data is deleted or returned as agreed with the customer, subject to legal retention requirements.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask to access, correct or erase your personal data, withdraw consent, and raise a grievance. If your data was entered by a fleet company, please contact that company first; we will help it respond.
